Motor saver reduces energy waste in AC induction motors and makes the motor function at its optimal efficiency in proportion to load rate. Motor saver monitors the phase lag of the current and voltage relationship in a motor that is operating at less than full mechanical load. Motor saver cuts back the voltage to precisely what the motor requires maintaining the rated speed and torque under the present load, thus reducing power consumption.

Motor saver is an auxiliary equipment designed to control input voltage of motor while not disturbing the production rate. Continuous dynamic control is applied to the motor by a microprocessor which calls Thyristor. Thyristor phase control is used to adjust the motor terminal voltage in respond to changes of motor loading. Plug N Save uses micro controller 8 bit at 20 MHz as CPU (central processing unit) to respond the load change within 1/100 second.
